Hal Harvey

Energy Innovation

Hal Harvey is the CEO of Energy Innovation: Policy and Technology LLC. He also is a Senior Fellow for Energy and the Environment at the Paulson Institute. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of ClimateWorks Foundation, a network of foundations that promote polices to reduce the threat of climate change.

From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Harvey was the Environment Program director at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. He founded the Energy Foundation and served as president from 1990 through 2001. Mr. Harvey is president of the board of directors for the New-Land Foundation, and board chairman of the MB Financial Corp.
